fortunate for me, john's family owns a cabin on the st. croix river just about 20 minutes away from where we live. it's the nicest place to go spend a quiet afternoon away from the rest of the world and a fun way to cool off in this hot weather. we spent the afternoon lounging on the dock, swimming in the river and people watching as boats went by. just the best.
